Red Letter Media reviews Star Wars Episode III. It's long, three 30+ minute video clips, and the narrator is a deranged serial killer which I could do without, but it's still a great review of the film and a lesson in film construction.
He's right about a lot of the problems in the film. The tone is jumbled, the pacing is off, the plot has logical flaws, the dialog is awful and the framing and editing of those dialog scenes is boring and rote (I hadn't realized how many couches were in the film). This all leads to you not caring about the characters.
I did disagree with the part about the Emperor taking power and the Senate giving it to him because of the emergency (which the Emperor constructed). It could have been done better, but the real-life parallels were pretty strong.
