Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

My 3 Minutes?
MacBreak Weekly is a well known audio show about macs. Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann (of 43Folders) among others host it. Episode 100 had as a guest Nicholas Jitkoff, the inventor of Quicksilver. About 20 minutes into it they start talking about documentation. For my manual Merlin Mann called me a "dude". The conversation branches off, but I think Merlin implies it in part stopped him from writing an O'Reilly book on Quicksilver (I guess I won't try pitching one now).
