What Happened to Keith Olbermann?

I haven't watched Countdown in a while, instead I settled on The Rachel Maddow Show. Still I caught Countdown on Wed and thought Olbermann was sounding more and more like O'Reilly. Then last night, Jon Stewart did this:

The Daily Show With Jon StewartMon - Thurs 11p / 10c
Special Comment - Keith Olbermann's Name-Calling

Political HumorHealth Care Crisis

He's taken on Maddow and Olbermann this weekend. I wonder if that's a new strategy?

Olbermann is starting to lose his charm.

His "Special Comments" about Bush, Cheney, and others were enjoyable, and farily accurate, while they lasted. His most recent target has been Limbaugh, whose remarks about Haitian relief efforts should not leave any doubt in anyone's mind that he is simply an evil person.

I saw Olbermann's rant on Brown and thought it a bit much as well. I guess he didn't want to discuss the political failures of the Obama administration in its first year, so he snarked on Brown.

Very poor judgement on Olbermann's part. It does make him seem like the clowns on FOX when he pushes the envelope that far.

I don't watch Olbermann as much as I used to. I record and tend to fast forward to his recurring commentators like Fineman, Turley, Wolffe, and Robinson.

Now that Dobbs is no longer on CNN, I head back there on occasion also.

Well, there's always the News Hour (PBS).
