The BBC has some interesting graphs Tracking campaign finance of Obama and McCain. Obama has raised and spent a lot more than McCain.
Of particular interest is the breakdown by industry. While a lot are pretty even there are a few industries where one candidate has gotten close to all of the donations. For Obama these are healthcare, education, civil servants, TV/movies/music, computers/internet, and he has a significant leads in lawyers and business services. The only blow out for McCain is oil & gas and he has a lead with the retired, which is by far the most generous "industry".

The lead in lawyers struck me. So even if he doesn't "win" the election, he can always out litigate his competition.
