Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

Small Amount Of Money From Pink NFL Merchandise Goes To Breast Cancer Research
And I believe same goes for all those Breast Cancer walk/runs/etc. Totally ticks me off with all the "pink" stuff, it's as if breast cancer is a fashion statement / trendy.
And fine, the NFL wives / cheerleaders want to support breast cancer awareness. Good. But my guess is more men watch the NFL. So why not promote prostate cancer awareness, screening, prevention???

Wait, 50% goes to the retailer? I never would have thought that. That's one hell of a markup.
Realize too that most of the sales come from the NFL website, so the NFL is the retailer.

Ok, off my soapbox.
I don't think I want to know what color prostate cancer awareness would be.
