So Much for the Palin Conspiracy Theory

So after the Crazy Palin Conspiracy Theory that Trig was actually 17 year-old Bristol's and Sarah was covering it up pretending it was hers, the Palin's nip that rumor by announcing that Bristol is currently 5 months pregnant. Lets see on that math, 5 months pregnant, couldn't be the mother of a 4 month-old, check.

So apparently it's better to cover up a scandalous teenage pregnancy rumor with an actual teenage pregnancy.

I was curious about Palin's position on sex education and now I see here, she was for "abstinence-until-marriage education" only. I don't know if Alaska currently teaches abstinence-only.

I haven't heard anything about if she's going to stay in school, she's a high school senior.

The press release from Sarah and Todd Palin says: "We're proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby". Nice that she had a decision to make, that would be a choice.

Also I don't get the religious right being happy about all this merely because she's keeping the baby and marrying the guy. There seems to me to be a bigger issue. And I guess they don't care that Alaska is one of the least religious states in the nation.

And then there's this, Sherri Shepherd on The View today said: "Please do not discount Palin as a mother...This woman is a mother, she has 4 now 5 kids. You tell me what mother can't run the country after having 5 kids. She either comes in and she does it politically or she takes it by force. I mean I know everyone says she lacks experience but as a mother I'm going this woman was in charge of the PTA, you can't even get chairs when you're in charge of the PTA. I'm so excited about this race now." I obviously don't understand this country.

Well, if you view your average senate session as one giant playdate filled with tantrums and the inability to share, then she's ABSOLUTELY qualified.

Think she'll threaten to take away Nancy Pelosi's gavel if she doesn't stop banging it on the furniture?
