Entertainment Weekly has their Winter TV Preview. Here's what's interesting:

The Wire - all 10 episodes of the season starting Sunday
Lost - 8 episodes starting Jan 31
In Treatment - a new HBO series on therapy like the Sopranos was about therapy. 43 daily 1/2 hour episodes starting Jan 26. Could be good, could suck.
Lewis Black's Root of All Evil - I hadn't heard of this but it's a half hour mock trial of who's more evil judged by Black. One example is Dick Cheney v. Paris Hilton. This could rock. 8 episodes starting Mar 12
John Adams - a 7 part miniseries biography on HBO starring Paul Giamatti starting March 16
Battlestar Galactica - 10 episodes starting April freakin' 4th

I'm not into these but if you are, American Idol starts Jan 15 and Survivor: Micronesia has 14 episodes starting Feb 7.
