Here's some crappy reporting from ABC, Romney's Fishy Delegate Claim. ABC Senior National Correspondent Jake Tapper reports that ABC thinks Huckabee has 31 and Romeny 19, and his "pal ABC News' John Berman" says Romney thinks he has 15 and McCain has 12.
Again CNN's site seems pretty clear to me (well not that I understand what they list for Arkansas, Illinois and Minnesota). Even still by the 3 states that have happened (Wyoming has a Republican caucus even if the media didn't cover it), Romney has 24 and Huckabee has 18.
The wikipedia page on the Republican Primaries adds more info. Apparently "Each state's two members of the Republican National Committee, and the party chairs of each state and territory are the only automatic delegates to the party's national convention. These superdelegates while officially uncommitted, may also publicly endorse a candidate." So looking at the results for Romney/Huckabee, in pledged delegates it's 24/18 and in superdelegates is 6/3 for a total so far of 30/21. Hey, now I understand the CNN numbers.
