I woke to thunder today and lots of rain. The snow is almost all gone. For the first day I can see all of my curb. The only snow left is where there were huge piles of snow from plowing. Some of those are still a foot or maybe too. Hopefully today they'll be gone.

The past few days I've been using a shovel to spread out the pile at the head of my driveway. There was still some of it left this morning, but I'm hoping the rain and relative warmth will kill the rest of it today.
I figured it was worth it to try and get rid of the pile before the next big storm. After the 3 or so storms that started the pile in mid-December, it was getting to a point where I couldn't make it grow much more...
It doesn't bother me that much :)
It's not about it bothering me, it's about having a place to put the snow when the next 8 snowfalls come. I figure I'll take full advantage of the warmth while it is here.
