Us 40 somethings are the ones who should be pissed, but I think we never expected Social Security to be around when we retired anyway. I will attempt to leave it out of my calculations.
I am more concerned about the poor who do not have the ability to save for retirement and really depend on these benefits. So much of the deficit reduction discussion, and SS is part of it, seems to be so regressive against low wage earners.
