Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

Petraeus
It's 45 minutes into the Petraeus Report to the House and he's yet to say a word. The Congressmen have spoken, bloviated is more like it, and once they do ask him to speak, his microphone doesn't work.
Took 15 minutes to fix and then he showed lots of charts saying how good thing were. Even the charts he introduced as saying not everything was good all showed decreased violence in the last few weeks.
