Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

President Obama Responds to the Confirmation of 27 Nominees. It seems he managed to find a way to get past the blocks that Republicans had on some of his nominees. He did it by threatening to use recess appointments. Something got done.

See I don't see why you have to be so negative about it. "If he can't find the takeaway"? It seems he already did.
You're right, it's a small victory and small victories are better than no victories.
