At the time in September I wrote about CMU Professor Gives His Last Lesson on Life. Professor Randy Pausch works in computer science and human computer interaction at CMU specializing in virtual reality. He is dying of pancreatic cancer. Last August he was given 3-6 months to live though he's still alive and is 47 years old.
He started three things I had previously never heard of: the Building Virtual Worlds class and the Entertainment Technology Center program and the Alice educational programming environment.
The video of his "last lecture" from September is now online from Google Video.
He has more videos here. "Diane Sawyer/ABC are doing a TV program Wednesday, April 9th at 10pm."

My roommate at RIT went on to get his ETC masters at CMU... He was involved in Alice as well as several other projects with Randy....
I blogged about her TED talk here.
