Celebrity Patents

Someone's collected a list of Celebrity Patents. Most seem pretty lame and bizarre, particularly compared to Heddy Lamar's invention of frequency hopping for secret radio transmissions. This was ahead of it's time and not implemented until the 60s when the patent expired, but it was the basis for spread-spectrum technology used in modern cell phones and wifi devices.
