The Hugo Awards Nominees have been announced. I've read nothing nominated. I've seen all the Best Dramatic Presentation (Long Form) nominees and I think it should go to Game of Thrones (Season 1) hands down. I've seen four of the Best Dramatic Presentation (Short Form) nominees and while I like Dr. Who (who got three of them), I'd give it to the Community episode.

Of the novels nominated I've only read Embassytown by China Miéville. It richly deserves the nomination. Its focus on linguistics made it a particularly fresh SF read.
