I think they missed the opportunity to call it transparent aluminum.

It's disappointing that they didn't mention its resistance to heat. If it's as strong as described AND capable of dealing with broad temperature ranges it's a tremendously exciting development. If it melts at 300F, gets brittle at low temps or cracks when repeatedly cycled through temperature ranges, its uses would be more limited.
