Greg Mankiw posted POTUS on SCHIP based on a letter from a friend of his in the White House. It's at least a coherent attempt at explaining the position more than the President hates children. I don't know enough to evaluate it but I wish this was the level of public debate. The comments do start to give some facts from the other side, hopefully this continues.
