Google Desktop for the Mac 1.0 is apparently about to go into a public beta (though nothing here yet). Seems like a Spotlight clone but The Unofficial Apple Weblog has why you should care. ars technica has a review too. I'll probably give it a little time before I try it, and I'm curious what Leopard will bring.
