Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.
Well, considering the bastard won't let me click inside -- I keep getting shunted back on the street -- I'd say not only is that a proper Easter Egg, it's a very clever one, not letting me inside a TARDIS.

Unless I'm missing something, I don't know if I'd call that an Easter Egg.
That's a real MacKenzie police box, the last one standing, outside Earl's Court tube station. It's the one in my gmail/twitter profile pic.
It could be argued that it's a genuine destination - I for one made the special trip the last time I was out there.
Did you go into streetview and click to go *inside* the Tardis? I call that an Easter Egg.

And of course that's what I was missing.
But, sad that I can't get in.
Some fantastic lock picker you are. :) Go to maps.google.com instead of using this embedded map.
