DeathAndTaxesPoster.com has an interesting graphic showing the discretionary parts of Obama's proposed federal budget. That means it doesn't include Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid or interest on the debt.
The area of the circles are proportional to the budget amount they represent (which reminds me of Tufte's problems with using area, a 2 dimensional measure, to show a 1 dimensional quantity) . Notice the entire left half of the chart is the defense budget.
Unfortunately it's flash and not an image and I find it a little hard to find the right zoom level to navigate. I recommend opening it in full screen mode (the button on the top right).
