Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

Google Finance Annoyance
I see this problem with Google Finance a lot. Notice that the graph and the stats at the bottom don't match. There's really no excuse. Is the graph a little out of date or is the data from around 11am?
It looks like 0% is set to the daily average rather than any single point. This suggests investors are more interested in the average price each day, rather than the closing price.
If you figure out how to to predict stock trends call me from your island.

I don't think so, because usually they match, it's just that a few times a week I notice they don't.
