Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

2 Week Hiatus
I'm going on vacation and probably won't have net access for the next 2 weeks. Be back end of September.

Singing with a barbershop quartet 3. Writing crappy top 10 lists 2. Anticipating all this crap we are posting on his blog. 1. Worrying about how much work must be piling up while he is gone
10. Sorting and resorting his NetFlix queue 9. Refactoring classes in Ambry 8. Porting emacs to Mac OS X 7. Auditioning for a role as an extra in Clerks II 6. Stacking empty Absolute vodka bottles into a giant pyramid 5. Checking his HotorNot rating 4. Training with Lance Armstrong and hanging with Sheryl Crow 3. Wow, I'm happy to see I'm not the only to think that Howard and John Lovitz are evil twins. I'm afraid I was not one of those random post-during-Howard's-hiatus commentators, as I haven't visited the Blog in quite some time. It seems I've missed so much.
now if I could just find the brain cells to contribute to my own blog. Man, am I pathetic.
