Women of The Daily Show Speak

Apparently I missed something that made the Women of The Daily Show Speak.

"Dear People Who Don't Work Here, Recently, certain media outlets have attempted to tell us what it's like to be a woman at The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. We must admit it is entertaining to be the subjects of such a vivid and dramatic narrative. However, while rampant sexism at a well-respected show makes for a great story, we want to make something very clear: the place you may have read about is not our office."

Read the rest, sounds like a great place to work.

Funny though, the article to which this letter refers talks entirely about on-air personalities, not overall staff. So, is there a difference?

I saw the Olivia Munn sketch. I thought that, while she was quite easy on the eyes, she was doing absolutely nothing unique and in fact I would almost swear she was simply doing an impression of Samantha Bee and Aasif Mandvi, with a little Jason Jones thrown in for good measure. But it was mostly Samantha Bee.

And I really don't like Samantha Bee.

Only a few correspondents stand out on that show, John Oliver being the best now. You have to watch Attack of the Show on G4 to understand that to young geeks, she's a goddess.
