Notes from Howard's Sabbatical from Working. The name comes from a 1998 lunch conversation. Someone asked if everything man knew was on the web. I answered "no" and off the top of my head said "Fidel Castro's favorite color". About every 6-12 months I've searched for this. It doesn't show up in the first 50 Google results (this blog is finally first for that search), AskJeeves says it's: red.

Ah, Memories
Star Trek 1971 Text Game. I think I first played this in 1976. Well, that might have been Lunar Lander (I definately played that then). I had definitely played trek by 1983, but I think it was earlier.
Smile. I played a version of this a little later (circa '84) on my Apple IIe, but the earliest games I remember playing are the Scott Adams adventures like Pirate Adventure and Voodoo Island.
