Hillary, Snipers and Hospitals

How Hillary Is Worse Than Cheney is a question and answer column in the Washington Post about the sniper story. The question was comparing Cheney's "misstatement" about flying over Arlington Cemetary adn seeing rows of crosses to Hilary's sniper story. Yeah in those cases Hillary's lie is worse. Why they don't compare it to Cheney's lies about bin Laden being connected to Iraq I don't know.

In the third question he rightfully states "that calls for Hillary Clinton to withdraw are outrageously premature...I don't think it is fair to claim she is doing any damage to the party by staying in till all states have voted."

The New York Times has another report of Hillary "mispeaking": Ohio Hospital Contests a Story Clinton Tells.

"Over the last five weeks, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York has featured in her campaign stump speeches the story of a health care horror: an uninsured pregnant woman who lost her baby and died herself after being denied care by an Ohio hospital because she could not come up with a $100 fee. The woman, Trina Bachtel, did die last August, two weeks after her baby boy was stillborn at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, Ohio. But hospital administrators said Friday that Ms. Bachtel was under the care of an obstetrics practice affiliated with the hospital, that she was never refused treatment and that she was, in fact, insured."

The health care and insurance systems are screwed up enough, you really don't have to make up stories about them. And if you want to be president, you shouldn't accept stories second hand without finding out if they're true.
