Holy Crap!!! Unbelievable! That might have been the most exciting Super Bowl finish ever!
Going into the game, I thought the Patriots were the better team and the Giants would either get killed or it would be a really close game that they would lose. I actually thought it would be very Giant-like if they lost in the first drive of overtime. I also said I wasn't expecting a win but wouldn't be surprised by one.
I never imagined the 4th quarter would start with a score of 3-7. So much for that 12 point spread. When the Pats drove for the second touchdown and the Giants defense was exhausted and couldn't put any pressure on Brady I thought that was it. But Manning put together a drive. It almost ended and by a miracle he avoided a sack and just chucked the ball into the air, and by another more miraculous miracle David Tyree caught it with his hand and his HELMET! And then the Giants managed to get the ball into the end zone. So many times this season we had to settle for a field goal or less but not this time. And then with 30 seconds left a still exhausted defense had to hold the Patriots who had 3 timeouts left. And by yet another miracle they did.
And Belichick's an ass for leaving the field with 1 second left. There wasn't a Giants fan around that wasn't nervous about The Fumble.

When RANDY MOSS shows more class than you something is seriously the matter ...
... but it is really nice to hear someone from Boston call Belichick out for doing that.
His postgame comments were even worse: NO mention of their record-breaking season, NO mention of the heart and soul that team played with to get themselves there, NO mention of what a close match and what good game it was - just "i'm disappointed."
i mean, even *I* feel bad for the team for that BS - and that's a raider fan talking. sympathy for the patriots is not really within our borders.
apparently if evidence is produced that he spied on the rams, he's out for a full year. if only he could be replaced by someone with just a LITTLE class.
