More Airplane Software Bugs

This started with a small reference on CNN on saturday made slashdot on Sunday, and then the Daily Tech a day later.

The F-22 is our brand new most advanced jet fighter. On their first deployment to Asia when a group of 8 flew over the international date line (where longitude goes from 179W to 180E) their navigation and communications systems crashed and they had to scrub the mission and follow tankers back to base. This is reminiscent of the famous F-16 bug where it turned over when crossing the equator. Let's hope they don't repeat some of the other F-16 bugs.
