Catholic Church to Allow Condoms?

Objective Justice had this: Catholic Church to allow condoms? "The church is expected to give a guarded, provisional blessing to the use of condoms by married couples when one of them suffers from Aids, as a way of protecting the health of the other partner"

That this is even a debate blows my mind. I don't get it.

It's a slippery slope. First this...ok....but then what. Where do you draw the line? What about pedophile priests? Should they wear condoms too?

The second coming of Christ, excuse the pun, cannot end up in ribbed prophylactic.

I just assumed the second coming would be immaculate as well. I never considered that a (relatively small) piece of latex could thwart God's will. So much for all powerful.
